How to design the gift bag with handle ?

First, size determination

1, Gift bag with handle design, we must first determine the appearance of the size of the gift bag with handle, and the volume specifications of the gift bag with handle and the actual volume of the items closely related, too large is a waste of paper material, too small is not easy to install, it is not easy to take.

It is best to print the whole bag, avoid half and half printing, reduce the process, and save paper, but also reduce the bonding process.      Of course, if the horizontal and vertical installation are beyond the scope of paper, only two pieces are glued into a bag!      In the case that the paper printing area is allowed, the general vertical items are installed vertically, such as wine packaging gift bag with handles, cigarette bags and other gift bag with handles.

2.  Women's cosmetics and clothing are generally installed vertically, and men's items are more horizontally installed, such as tea and moon cakes.      Gift packaging bags on the market, there are two vertical, four horizontal, four vertical, five vertical.

3, According to the number of items and the way to determine the size of the bag, measure the maximum size of the items, and then begin to determine the size of the bag, generally speaking, the length direction should be put a little longer (about 10mm), the width direction can be less relaxed (about 5mm).

Second, the drawing of knife version drawings

After the appearance size of the gift bag with handle is determined, it is necessary to start drawing the knife version drawings, do not worry about starting the design copy, draw the knife layout first, at least each indentation line should be drawn, the knife version is determined first, and the internal graphic case will be changed less!  Otherwise, every time the drawing moves, the inner drawing must be adjusted once!

Gift bag knife drawing can be drawn in CAD software, can also be drawn in AI, FH, CD and other software.      It depends on the specialty of the designer.      The drawing sequence is to draw the large surface first, then draw the adhesive mouth and other creases, then adjust the details, and finally check the dimensioning.  The following is a technical drawing of the bag as a column, explaining a few points to note:

1, The four faces of the gift bag with handle are the first to determine the size, assuming that the four faces are ①②③④.      Generally speaking, the width of the surface L is 0.51mm smaller than the width of the ③ surface A, in order to facilitate the internal folding after sticking the gift bag with handle, and the internal contraction of the paste surface can prevent the edge from being close to the crease and the paste is not tight.

2.   According to the width A of ③, the distance B from the lower end of the front and back creases can be determined, because the Angle at K is 45°, so the distance at B is half of the width at A.

3, the width of the bottom side of the paper G half is 1.5 times that of B, mainly to ensure the fastness of the adhesive, this distance can be adjusted according to the actual size of the printed paper.      Does not affect the size of the gift bag with handle appearance.      But it must be at least half of the width A in 3 places, otherwise the two sides will not stick together!      It's also less than the width of A.

4.   Half of the width at F is 20mm, but it is less than half of A!      There is a viscose line at the adhesive mouth, which must be indicated.      The bleeding area (3-5mm) at the sticky mouth should be avoided.      Can be reduced according to the width of the paper.

5.   The height P of the folding block above the gift bag with handle is generally 30-40mm.      It must be at least 5mm larger than the edge of the rope hole.

6.   The distance between the rope hole and the upper edge is generally 20-25mm.      There is no fixed limit, punching is to avoid the key graphic parts, so as not to affect the appearance.      The distance between the fingertips of the two threading holes is generally 2/3 of the width of the gift bag with handle.      Note that there are a total of 8 rope holes on the layout, and the above edges are symmetrical!      Don't forget the four rope holes in the drawing!

7, when drawing, pay attention to the side and the crease line at the adhesive should be drawn accordingly!      Otherwise it's hard to fold the box.

8, indicate the gram weight or thickness of the paper, mainly to determine the height of the knife and line.  The general paper of the gift bag with handle is 250G-300g cardboard, the thickness of 250g white cardboard is generally about 0.31mm, and the thickness of 300g white cardboard is generally about 0.4mm.

9, indicate the direction of the bite, so that the knife plate bite is consistent with the printing bite.

10, the size should be marked clearly, the arrow should point in place.  After the annotation is completed, check carefully, at least the local length in the same direction should add up to the overall length!
