Through the test, under the same conditions, the transverse pressure line of the carton is widened by 1mm, the compressive strength of the carton is reduced by 90N ~ 130N, and the deformation is increased by about 2mm.  The pressure line is too wide, which will cause the force value of the carton to increase slowly during the compression test, the effective value is small, and the final deformation is large.  In order to ensure the compressive strength, we should try to improve the production process and reduce the impact of each process on the compressive strength of the carton.

4.  It is also important to choose the right type of carton according to the type of carton.

In people's consciousness, it is often believed that the larger the corrugated shape, the higher the compressive strength of the carton, and it is easy to ignore the influence of the corrugated shape on the deformation amount.  The larger the corrugated shape, the greater the compressive strength of the carton, the greater the deformation;  The smaller the mold, the smaller the compressive strength of the carton and the smaller the deformation.  If the carton is too large and the corrugated shape is small, the carton will be easily crushed during the compression test;  The carton is too small, the corrugated shape is very large, the compressive test will cause excessive deformation, the buffering process is long, and the effective value and the final force value are too large.


5.  The influence of moisture on the compressive strength of the carton can not be ignored.

The production environment, storage environment, use environment, weather, climate and other factors will affect the water content of the carton.  In order to ensure the compressive strength of the carton, the influence of the external environment on the water content of the carton should be avoided as far as possible.
