2. Decomposition Process

Microbial Action: The materials are designed to be digestible by microorganisms in soil or compost. Microbes consume the polymers as a food source, breaking them down into simpler substances.

End Products: The decomposition results in natural outputs such as water, carbon dioxide, and biomass, which integrate harmlessly into the environment.

Timeframe: In industrial composting conditions (high temperature, humidity, and oxygen), full decomposition can occur within 3–6 months. In natural environments, the process may take longer but still occurs without leaving harmful residues.

Unlike traditional plastics, biodegradable mailers are free from toxic additives that could harm the environment. This ensures that the decomposition process is safe for soil, plants, and wildlife.

4. Composting Certification
