Zeal X glassine paper bag are made from fsc certified translucent glassine paper. They are both compostable and curbside recyclable in paper recycling streams. Glassine paper is a smooth, glossy, translucent paper that is resistant to air, water and grease. More durable and strong than standard paper of the same weight: Because glassine paper is denser than standard paper (almost twice as dense!) Therefore, it has high fracture strength and tensile strength.Like all paper, glassine paper comes in different weights, so you'll find glassine paper available in a variety of quality, density, and strength options. Thin and transparent plastic bags are prone to static electricity. The bags will stick together, stick to the product, and soon be everywhere. The same cannot be said for glassine bags. It is the best alternative to plastic bags.
